Welcome to
Davison Real Estate Inspections

Looking for a professional inspection that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Well you've found it!

Hi, I'm Don Davison and I am Davison Real Estate Inspections, owner/inspector.
I personally perform every home inspection myself and will always give you the utmost personal attention you deserve. Something that is not always possible with the large multiple inspector firms.

As your inspector I go onto the property looking for the problems or potential problems, to inform you of them. I will slowly and methodically walk you through your prospective home and fully educate you on all of its features in order for you to fully understand your property. I will assess those areas where upgrades or replacements may be necessary and screen for those costly defects and safety issues that could lead to problems in your future living conditions.

You won't receive a handwritten report from
Davison Real Estate Inspections . Each report is a computer generated report, individually prepared! I don't use software that uses predetermined comments, software that prints out the same report every inspection. Your report is written in a clear, understandable language that doesn't require a degree in architecture to understand. Photos of crucial items are included in the report, not as a separate attachment.

Free Followup Service: Telephone consultation about home maintenance and repairs is provided at no extra cost for as long as you own your home.

FYI:
With the ecconomy the way it is, you can save as much as 20% on your energy bills by adding insulation to your attic. In doing so you may also qualify for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)which provides energy incentives for bot individuals and businesses. The new law increases the energy tax credit for home owners who make energy efficient improvements to their existing homes. The new law increases the credit rate to 30% of the cost of all qualifying improvements and raises the maximum credit limit to $1500 for improvements placed in service in 2009 and 2010. The credit applies to improvements such as insulation, energy efficient exterior windows and energy efficient heating and air conditioning systems.

Avoid the "Money Pit"
by Hiring the Right Inspector!

Hiring an unqualified home inspector could cause you to be in some serious financial trouble. But finding the qualified inspector can sometimes be tricky! There's nothing worse than being tricked by the old "I've been inspecting for 20 years!" story. 20 years ago he was looking for something different so he became an inspector with NO construction background, so he's been, at best, an average inspector for 20 years. Besides, codes change every 2 to 4 years so background, training and staying current should define qualified, not 20 years experience! Quantity does not mean quality!
